About Dave Lamble
Dave's passion for the transport industry started at an early age, spending school holidays accompanying his uncle in lorries. It was during these early experiences that he discovered his ambition to become a lorry driver.
As soon as he was able to afford it, Dave learned to drive a car and not long afterwards gained his HGV licence. He went on to spend many years driving lorries, gaining valuable hands-on experience across the transport industry. He still drives lorries today, keeping his practical knowledge and understanding of the industry up to date.
Alongside his driving career, Dave has gained a range of additional qualifications, including tickets for construction machinery such as diggers and dumpers. His career has also involved many years spent working away from home, completing long weeks on the road and sleeping in his lorry before returning home on Fridays.
As his experience grew, Dave decided to expand his knowledge beyond driving and move into transport management. In 2023, he successfully completed his Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), opening the door to the next stage of his career.
Since qualifying, Dave is working as a Transport Manager for multiple companies, supporting their transport operations and helping them meet their responsibilities. he now offers external transport management and practical fleet compliance support to businesses looking for experienced, reliable guidance.
Dave combines years of real-world driving experience with transport management knowledge, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges operators face. His approach is built around industry experience, straightforward advice and helping businesses operate safely, efficiently and compliantly.
Dave is always looking to work with more operators and businesses, providing professional management support tailored to their needs.
"Dave's practical industry insight helped us navigate our compliance audit seamlessly. His hands-on background makes all the difference."
